The Stanford GSB Finance & Investment Club (F&I club) provides its members with a forum to explore and learn about various aspects of the financial world. Our mission is to 1) help members decide whether a career in investment management or banking is right for them and 2) provide members who decide it is right with the training, tools, and contacts necessary to help them secure jobs in investment management or banking.

With over 250 members, the F&I club is one of the largest clubs at the GSB. We've recently decided to open the club to non-GSB students enrolled at Stanford University as well. Membership dues are $20 per year for the first year and $10 to renew as a second year. Membership dues can be paid through the Stanford eGroups website (http://egroups.stanford.edu/p-241-gsb-finance-investment-dues.aspx).

Club Activities

The F&I club engages in a range of activities including:
- Professional investor speaker series
- Training seminars (e.g., introduction to modeling)
- Club mixers
- Career treks
- Managing a portion of the GSB's endowment (through the Investment Committee)
- Co-sponsoring the Annual Principal Investing Conference

GSB Applicants

Apologies - due to the high volume of requests we've gotten, we simply cannot accommodate individual meeting or phone call requests from Stanford GSB applicants. Hopefully this website will answer some of your questions regarding the club and if there are general things we can further clarify please specify in the feedback section of the website. If you have questions about admission to the MBA Program, please visit www.gsb.stanford.edu/mba/contact/ask_question.html.
